Not hard to do a single Google search my dude
Edit: I know there are articles saying the same about the ps5, but all the articles about ps5 have nobody with a name to corroborate anything. The chorus devs have said themselves on record that Xbox is easier to develop for. I can't find a single quote of anyone willing to be named that says ps5 is easier to dev for.

Freedom seems to be the only reason given. It’s interesting that he called out high framerate because Xbox Series X has a more stable resolution than framerate as compared to PS5. So I don’t know how well this holds up.
Notice that only the Series X is mentioned, not the Series S. In isolation sure, series X could be easier than PS5, but devs do not have the option to only develop only for series x. And I don’t think they can ignore PC either.

"that's only the series x" do you understand development? Hey guys, this game was made for the 3080, not the 3080 ti or the 2080! The cpu isn't clocked to the right ghz! The monitor is wide screen! It won't run on either of those! It was made for amd, not nvidia! Bro development for the series x and s is the exact same thing... Games don't need to be made for both. I don't think you understand how game development works.

Saw your previous edit and thought it was funny. Literally the same website you sourced has two articles with developers corroborating that ps5 is easier to develop for and provides much more detail.
> Bro development for the series x and s is the exact same thing
Time has to be spent optimizing the series S version to make sure it works okay while also having feature parity with the X, which is literally holding up the Xbox version of Baldurs Gate 3. Imagine what the team could be working on if they didn’t have to spend time making it work on the Series S instead.
Edit:
A developer with a name in case you missed it
> One developer who seems to prefer what Sony are doing is Crytek rendering engineer Ali Salehi. Speaking in an interview with Persian website Vigiato, Salehi dropped some interesting details on the tech of both consoles. The article has since been removed for unknown reasons but thanks to users on ResetEra, we still have translations of what Salehi said.
> According to Salehi, the PS5 is a console that’s much easier to code and develop for than the Xbox Series X. He cites multiple reasons for this, one of them being the fact that the Xbox Series X, much like its predecessor, splits the RAM in two, with both having different bandwidths, which will be one of several factors that will create bottlenecks and prevent the console from reaching max capacity.

Imagine what would be worked on without it, indeed. Hardware limitations are less withholding than financial limitations, and with how much money games have been making they have been able to get better and better. And if less people can play games, games make less money, and the development stalls more. If a dev can't get over series s, that's on them. And if the series a existing, which means more money spent on games, means that a dev gets an excuse then it's on them to use their financial supporters as a reason for not doing a good job.

I see you’ve given up on your whole argument considering you admitted financial limitations in making sure both Series S and X are optimized. You don’t see this argument with the PS5 digital version because it’s the same specs, thus takes less time and money to optimize. It’s on Microsoft if their budget console doesn’t live up to developer expectations.

Yeah let's say the Xbox is where hardware limitations are, not the billions of pcs with random hardware shoved into them. Edit: I also NEVER said financial limitations on Xbox series, I said that because the series brings the game to so many more people that it makes the games more financially responsible than they would've been, not that it makes it harder for devs because of financial strain. I am going to stop replying to this thread because you'll suckle the Sony teet until you die, but my point has been made.

Lol flee if you want. I recommend an Xbox sub instead, they are also in denial and could get your karma past 75.
