I just moved to cambridge for school a couple months ago and I'm really not let down by the food scene in boston so far but i have yet to find a soup dumpling place I wanna try.. it's tricky for me because I don't eat pork and all the places i've looked up sell only those, obviously since they're the most popular. I used to live in montreal and they had tons of soup dumpling places that had seafood or shrimp soup dumplings and those are everything to me, are there any places where i can find those here??! 😭

besides the soup dumplings though what are just some places for dumplings that never miss?? particularly places that stay good when delivered? I've got my foot in a brace and i just really really want some good old sunday dumplings right at my door after a crazy night lmfao

have you tried places in allston or chinatown?

also takeout >>>>> delivery when it comes to steamed dumplings

totally agree that delivery kills quality but sometimes I'm super lazy haha. I've tried places in chinatown but not specifically for dumplings - i just tried winsor dim sum last week! I havent even considered allston though, do you have any good places to try

Make the trip out to Malden for district Kitchen! Famous for their soup dumpling.

They have a few varieties of dumplings, but the soup ones do have pork FYI.

Unfortunately, the good dumpling places in Montreal's Chinatown are far superior to those we have here, sorry.
