I have to move from my old place to a new one, both within the city. I have 2 trolley bags and 3 duffle/bags to carry, that's it. Is there any economical/ideal way to move my luggage? I do not drive or have a vehicle of my own.

That's an excellent idea. I was hesitant because I heard that Uber drivers sometimes cancel the trip if they figure you are shifting your stuffs. But I think this should work for me.

If they show up and cancel on you, they get penalized in the app. UberXL is a big vehicle, if you are just moving suitcases/bags should be no problem.

Not saying they won't do it, but drivers who wait until they see the passenger to cancel can have various negative affects. If they have more than 5% cancel rate, they lose the ability to see upcoming trip durations before accepting a ride. They can lose other perks, and theoretically they can be completely deactivated but I suspect that's rare.

I would play roulette with UberXL in hopes of a minivan. Also, I found this compact foldable dolly to be immensely useful. So much that my parents got them each as well.
