My kid was transferred to the NICU at MGH after birth. This was pre-covid, but the rule there was only children that were siblings could visit. Otherwise, if you want to stay the night, MGH had a limited amount of bunk rooms you could crash in that were part of the unit. As for food, see if you qualify as a patient to receive food. If there is a community fridge in unit, be careful. My food got stolen or picked through multiple times at MGH, even when marked. Not sure what BWH will be like, but I'm sure you'll have a great experience with the staff
