Bunch of ice sculptures somewhere, google first night Boston for a map
Most of the first night stuff is around Copley. Ice sculptures, music, other performances. And it’s all (or mostly) free. https://www.firstnightboston.org/PDF/FN23_Program_Brochure.pdf
Early fireworks on the common at 7pm, weather permitting. The lights on the Comm Ave mall are cool, and less crowded than Copley. Check some of the concerts at First Night, then take your time walking over to the harbor for midnight fireworks.
Area around BMC, Mass ave and Melnea Cass are really nice for walking this time of year
There's 3 sets of fireworks tonight. Fireworks on the Common follow the parade (which starts at 5:50).
The other fireworks displays are at Copley Square and Boston Harbor, both at midnight. Copley also has a laser lightshow.
If you’re trying to find fent
Walk the waterfront & end in Copley
Between Copley & Boston Harbor, which of the midnight fireworks is better ?
I’m late but I just went by Copley and there’s lots going on there! They even have fried dough which I I was tempted to get off the bus and get
Swing by Fields Corner. There’s a large Vietnamese population here, it’s basically a 360° fireworks show come 12:01.
Thinking of driving down for the 7pm showing, any suggestions on where to park close to commons?
