I've been to Montréal a bunch of times and yeah, their subway is pretty nice. I also like the underground pedestrian tunnels (RESO, a French pun on "réseau" for "network") connecting some of the stations in the downtown area, lined with shops and restaurants and stuff, like a "city under the city".

I moved from Boston to Montreal this year and yeah...the difference in transit is astounding. People in Montreal actually think their transit system is bad (LOL) but when I tell stories about the T (especially what was happening this summer), jaws drop.

Weirdly I've also seen in this in Dallas (to escape the heat). It was cool there too.

Montreal is one of my favorite cities, very cheap flights from boston sometimes

It really great. It’s like if you took the pru and connected it to all the other hotels residences and shops all the way to downtown

once you get over the border the 1-2 hours from the border to the city is a lot of empty farm land initially. once hit a massive pothole and almost got run over by an 18 wheeler 50% in my lane

Wow. Yeah it’s amazing how empty and flat it is. It’s so dramatic coming over from Vermont. Also super odd that everyone drives on the right.
