Any of the major ones at the airport will do this. Its more expensive but doable

Why pay the airport fees if you aren't flying?

The same lines at the airport have facillities in chelsea for a bit cheaper. You still need to use a major carrier

Airport car selection is much better, especially if you have a higher tier membership from the rental company.

Most of the time, the extra fee is worth it.

Most won't even require it to be picked up/dropped off specifically at an airport. It's called a one way trip fee. I had to do it recently through Enterprise and it was an additional $75 on top of the normal rental.

Literally any car rental search engine just type in different start and end points

I tried to google places like Orbitz, Kayak and directly with rental car companies. There are currently no cars available in the area that will allow for a one way rental. Hoping that my rescheduled flight with SW tomorrow will actually leave but I’m not holding my breath. I was looking for a backup if the flight tomorrow is cancelled again.

Check to see if there's any availability on JetBlue, American or Delta, which all fly nonstop from BOS-ORD.

When are you going? I’m driving there soon

If you don't need to jump in a car tonight, look at the various drive-away companies (that's just one of them). You drive someone else's vehicle cross-country for them. Friends have done this in the past and it's a great, cheap way to travel if you don't have a tight itinerary.

The only thing I can think of that isn't a normal rental car place is U-Haul. They're mostly in the business of one way travel. The rental car market got fucked when used cars were selling at close to new prices during covid. They all sold their fleets.

Type it into kayak (or another search engine) for options

You’re not going to be able to get a one way rental because of the holidays

Rented a Dodge Charger and I am about 4 hours away from Chicago

Yea, how much are you getting whacked with mileage fees

Total cost was $470.00 plus gas charges. Cheaper than two tickets one way on someone besides SW and I’m back in Chicago.
