There is sandpaper strong enough to file down metal you can just buy?
I also feel like doing it manually would take forever and hurt lmao

Just got a new E scooter and this attachment for folding is literally like 1-2mm too large on the area where my index finger is, so I can't get the screw holes to align. Just need to grind off a bit... Will pay for the help!

Try bringing it to a Home Depot that has a tool rental and see if they can do it for you, or at the very least you could rent the tool(s) needed. Good luck!!

Home Depot no longer offers this service. :(

get a tapered file or a small flat file. the steel or aluminum used on these bikes is very soft, it'll take maybe a minute to ream out a bit of material

Could you recommend a general tool so I can go look for it later? Thanks! I wouldn't know anything about what kind of grating leel I would need and frankly I notice most people working in hardware stores don't really know much or are specialized lol

You could do this with a metal file or even sandpaper if you can't find the tools
