There are Spanish speakers but most are not Spaniards. Good luck.

Sorry, I am not from Spain, but I did find this web site which is an arm of the Spanish Embassy to the US. They track events relating to Spain happening in Boston. You might be able to find things there that you could attend and meet fellow Spaniards. Good luck! It can feel lonely to go a while without speaking your native language with fellow natives.

Curious, why does the accent matter?
mochiakku OP t1_isctrtk wrote
Oh, because when I’m talking with people with other accents I try to talk in a more neutral Spanish and use more neutral expressions for a better understanding.

Hola! I’m not Spanish but I speak it (with what I like to think is a Spanish accent from Spain jeje). My husband is from Spain though and we know a group of Spanish people that gets together to hang out and do stuff. Judging by your post history you might just have started uni. Most ppl in the group are late 20s early 30s so as long as that’s not too old and boring feel free to message me on here and I can send you the WhatsApp link :)
