Never cruised there myself, but Bermuda is great. You'll find that a lot of folks taking the cruise ships there just take the ferry to Hamilton (assuming you'll sail into the Royal Navy Dockyard) or take the bus or taxi to Horseshoe Bay. The latter gets incredibly crowded in warmer weather and might as well be Hampton Beach (bad behavior, tacky crap for sale.) Any of the other southern facing beaches are great options.

Your kid may be a bit young to be a passenger on a scooter, but you can rent electric two seater cars (some side by side, some front to back, like Bobsleds.)

The bus system there is solid, but know that when school starts and gets out the buses will take a lot, lot longer.

Great info. We’re frequent travelers but never been on a cruise before and definitely first with a kid. I wonder how much fun things are for someone that age to do on a ship like that.

But sounds like once in Bermuda there’s fun stuff to do.

The beaches are great - though it may be a bit cool. The island is quiet and skews older, so there will not be the types of attractions like you’d find in Aruba, Orlando, etc.

Plan on eating on the boat - the food on the island is very expensive and not all that great. The people there are some of the happiest, kindest folks you’ll ever meet.

Take a look at the ships themselves, they should tell you what’s available. I’ve been on one whole cruise, and it was before covid. But they had different “daycares” for different ages with tons to do and activities for kids the whole cruise. There was also an arcade. There are typically shows throughout the cruise I’m certain most a 6 year olds would find entertaining (like magic).

And the pools are still an option on the cruise even if the weather isn’t super warm, the sun helps a lot. There was also a curfew of like 10pm I think for kids, though it was fairly ignored and I’m sure if it was one child with their parents no one would care at all. It’s the unaccompanied ones that run around that are the issue.
