I’m planning on taking my wife and kid up to Boston around mid December. I know it’ll be cold, but just wanna get a grasp of how cold? Does it snow a lot around that time of year? We want to get a tour of Fenway park, but not sure how it’ll be if it’s all covered in snow.

We are from south Texas by the way. We never get snow down here.

Snow generally doesn't hit big until the new year. It'll likely hang just above freezing during the day.

Pack coats. Hats, scarves and gloves advisable but not necessary.

Definitely packing all the coats and sweaters then. Will have to buy a scarf though. Lol

Don't bother buying a scarf just for one trip, it's not necessary. Just try to find a coat with a hood that zips all the way up to your chin. Layers are a good way to stay warm and adjust as the day goes on.

Thank you! Gonna go look around to see if I have a good coat like that laying around here

Don't forget to put gloves on before your hands get cold. The trick is that gloves keep heat in, rather than cold out.

Layers.

Also stop inside now and again, museum, Uber, restaurant, fun shop etc.

It’s no fun being cold especially the kids, nothing wrong with warming up for a few minutes.

I feel it doesn’t get horrible until mid January
