Good Afternoon everyone. We've come into a bit of a problem over on r/massachusetts. A new moderator has been added (making him pretty much the only active moderator) who seems to have taken it upon himself to ban, lock, and remove any and all comments that he doesn't politically agree with, and especially those that criticize his actions as a moderator. He's also banned the Boston Globe's account. Multiple posts have been locked and removed with dozens of members banned calling him out on his abusive actions as a moderator:

As a result of this post I was permanently banned and muted from contacting the mod team. If it's still visible the post got over 100 upvotes, and over 90 members contributed to it the overwhelming majority supported the post.

He's also recently deleted multiple incriminating posts to other subreddits to save face, where he has described himself as a sadist as well as other highly politically fueled rants.

Please do not harass, make personal attacks/insult, or include personal details about that particular moderator, even if that information comes from their post/comment history. A healthy discussion about what moderation should be is welcome, harassment and doxxing is not welcome.

Update: The mod in question has been finally removed, as well as his burner accounts he made mods. A big thank you to everyone that reported him. Over the next few days I'm hoping that those who were banned are able to participate in the sub again.
