They are doubling down and tripling down: https://www.reddit.com/r/TrueRandomThoughts/comments/11x4103/i_regret_nothing_about_what_i_knew/

They are also frustrated people are editing posts after being banned: https://www.reddit.com/r/bugs/comments/11x7mhd/banned_user_can_still_edit_locked_threads_and/

When in reality, the whole issue happened when they deleted posts they said they would leave up for transparency, and went on to blanket ban mass amounts of active users and contributors. They started multiple threads to explain themselves, then deleted those threads when users, in pretty much total agreement, downvoted them and rallied against them.

The slow zones on the red line between Harvard and Davis have been awful the past two days. This morning I got on at Davis to a train that was so packed no one could get on at Porter. Took almost 20 minutes to get from Davis to Harvard. This is unacceptable.

Has anybody tried the Jalapeno Margarita seltzer from Polar? I'm so intrigued but hesitant and I don't know why!

Edit: fuck it, will report back soon

Guy actually twisted the original thread's wording to say they "dEmAnDeD" only POC reply to their thread and called it a form of segregation. I...have no words.

Like no, what, if a woman were to post "Hey I'm expecting and thinking of becoming a SaHM. What's it like being one in Mass? Share your experience", is Linux gonna be like: "Locked. Removed. We don't promote sexism here, women deserve to work 😡. It's the same thing as [insert bizarre and unrelated example]".

Idk I'm spitballing here but I read the original thread through Reveddit and it was a TOTALLY innocuous question. The real racism here was not allowing POC to discuss the issues important to them which was the safety of the area they're moving to. Like maybe that was the guys goal?? Restrict the discussion of serious topics by concerned groups by feigning "progressiveness" aka "We don't promote racism here. You can't post about race!1!!1"

Ok, just cracked one open. This is a non refrigerated first taste:

Not really for me. It's got that initial flavor that I can't quite describe that ruins it for me. It's a similar initial flavor like some of the non fruit flavored ones (unicorn, magic, etc.) Something about that just doesn't work for my pallette.

I can't barely taste anything else after that except for a slight spiciness at the end that stays in your throat. It's not intense (and I know my next line is subjective) as eating an actual Jalapeno but the flavor and tingle are there.

For me, it's a 1/10. For reference, some of my favorite flavors right now are Raspberry 'ade, Lime, Grapefruit, Black Cherry, Orange.

Thanks for coming to my TedTalk!

Thank you for your service! You’ve done a good deed for us all. I’ll avoid.

I tend to stick to the classics anyway, I’m a cran-lime and grapefruit kinda girl.

Though I wonder if it being cold will change it significantly, or you know adding tequila, haha.

Wait they brought that back? I must've missed the email and IG story!

They had it, or something very similar, maybe five (??) years ago for Cinco de Mayo, and I remember my take was that I was psyched to see a novel flavor, but it was not for me.

That said, I may try it as a mixer if I find it again this year. I don't think I tried that last time.

Hello all,

I realize that there might be better places to post about this issue or get more information, but I thought you might be able to help me out.

Today I moved to Boston. I'm a US citizen with a passport and SSN, but have been living abroad for the past 15 years. As such, I have almost no record of existence here besides the aforementioned documents and a few other essentials.

I need to acquire a driver's license as soon as possible. The only thing I'm missing is proof of residence. Are you guys aware of any ways to speed up this process. I also don't currently have an address, a pay stub, school enrollment papers, or any of the other obvious choices. After consulting the RMV website I'm at a loss for what to do.

I would appreciate any wisdom you might be willing to share.

P.S. I've been here one day and I can tell you that the T sucks - y'all weren't kidding.

Where are you sleeping? Open up a bank account at an address of someone who can receive mail for you for the next month or so. Either wait for a statement or sign up to get a checkbook. Either of those counts. Or if you’re down to do some photoshopping, copy the rental lease from a buddy and put your name on it instead.
