I saw it in person for the first time on Friday and still thought it looked like hands holding a dong. It's unfortunate from most angles.

I have seen it in person too after first only seeing pictures, where I thought it looked like shit. My feeling is that it will look better to everyone when the weather is sunnier, we have later sunsets, the park is greener, etc. It is not great, but it's not as awful as everyone makes it out to be.
