He certainly writes books that I can’t put down. From the opening sequence in Slow Horses, I was completely hooked. I like that he doesn’t shy away from killing characters you have come to care about. No one seems safe, except for Jackson Lamb, and that is as it should be.

I haven't read him, but I am in love with the Sympathizer by Viet Thanh Nguyen.
