The Catcher in the Rye got me into reading. I read it again years later and it didn't hit nearly as hard as it did when I was a teenager.

After giving whatever you decide to read a fair chance, if you're not enjoying it then don't force yourself to finish. Just find something new, since making reading a chore is the worst way to get yourself into it.
