I absolutely LOVED this book.
I didn't struggle at all to finish this one, I sped through it so quickly, because it was SUCH an enticing read!
i appeciated the way that this book discusses gender discrimination and gender roles, the concept of masculinity and feminity in its toxic and healthy forms, family dynamics, sexuality and monogamy/polygamy - very naturally weaved into the plot, and did not feel like it was forced.
the ending absolutely floored me, to be honest...yes, i suspected that something was up with the hunduns speech, but i didn't expect it to be THAT big. i'm honestly all over the place thinking about this book! i am eagerly awaiting any follow up book she releases, because i absolutely CANNOT stop here.

I really enjoyed it for the most part but i felt like it wasn't as perfect as it could be, which is honestly a great place to be in for a debut YA novel. I feel like as of late, YA novels especially from debut authors are mediocre/average at best so I'm very excited for the next book.
