I think it’s all up to personal preference. I love my kindle I have thousands of books at my fingertips no matter where I am - but I do have physical copies of signed books and my absolute favorites on my shelves.

If you love physical, then I say go that way. I like having a physical collection of favorite books too and dont care for digital books. I can usually find pretty cheap paperbacks at Half-Price Books and second hand stores pretty cheap 🙂

Kindle now, real books when you get out of school & settled.

Check if your local library has overdrive.

If so, I would highly recommend getting a kobo as it pairs very easily with overdrive. Then you don't have to worry about buying books as you can rent them from the library, and only buy the things not on overdrive. (overdrive has quite a large selection)

Also just a library card will get you access to tons of physical books too

you should get libby if you have a good public library! it lets you borrow books and you can send them to your kindle to read for FREE! buy physical books you want to keep or just want a copy of (that’s why i do)

Yes if you want to read a lot of books that you may not have an interest in reading again especially with kindle+.

Check out your local goodwill / second hand clothing stores for the cheapest books of all

There is a kindle app for the phone that you can get for free. You can download a book and see if you enjoy it. A Kindle is the same but bigger

I prefer physical books as well but just don’t have the space for them. So I use to sell, trade them to keep my collection manageable. I’ve had a kindle for 4 or 5 years and it’s so much easier. When I’m travelling I can read at my normal speed without worrying about not having anything to read. It saves me having to carry heaps of books. Having said that nothing beats reading a physical book.
