I've got a nice old Yamaha amplifier and turntable but both need help. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

What type of price (roughly) are we looking at to repair? Reasonable? Or just go buy something different? I know it’s dependent on the problem, but I’d rather not pay $150 to fix a volume knob, that type of thing.

Can’t say without knowing at least what some of the help is that they need. I know they charge a diagnostic fee though which goes toward the cost of the repair should you opt to repair

Go to the TV repair place in Pasadena where 10 intersects with 2. It's good. Just the kind of old school electronics repair guy you want doing this kind of stuff.

Don't know how good they are, just know that Soundscape on Cold Spring does repairs.
