I’ll see if I can swing it - those are hectic hours for the parents of a three year old

That we understand. The comment period will be open for two weeks if you're not able to, but we would love to have your voice in the meeting.

It's a breath of fresh air to see a city agency being both responsive and professional. Thanks for the efforts.

This has been a terrible crosswalk for years and years to follow the trail. I usually walk in the island, gives you better visibility of the lights and what all is going on.

In the news article it says the meeting is virtual at 6 pm on the 26th. That should make it a bit easier for some people to attend I think.

I will try to make it to the meeting bit in case I can’t:
as someone who primarily drives through that intersection 3-4 times a day, my main comment is that the light is timed poorly for those traveling north from the light at 29th street. if you don’t speed up approaching the intersection, you miss the light.
the lack of lane markings when traveling south is also concerning. there are clearly two lanes according to driver behavior, but there are no markings on the pavement whatsoever.

It feels like a lot of the roads that come off of or to over 83 have this issue. That and cars speeding super fast into those areas.

My first question is: How long has this been an issue?
Second question is that if it's been for years, why hasn't it been appropriately addressed? No doubt it's known to be an issue so why has it been neglected all this time?

Oh, awesome! This intersection is an annoying and unnecessary barrier to accessing Remington from Druid Hill Park and the Jones Falls Trail.
It's right in between the Druid Hill pool and R. House, but the sidewalk on Wyman Park Drive fucking disappears! A bike lane painted on the road doesn't work for strollers, or really even for a bike pulling a kid in a trailer.
