Parked at the 101 W Cross Street garage through an app. But when I went to go back and get my car, I didn't see a way to get into the garage to get my car. The doors are keycard access only and app parking isn't connected to the scanner on the main door. I walked around the building for 15 minutes looking for an entrance. I ended up having to sprint into the garage following a car inside.

I'm sure I probably missed the pedestrian parking entrance. Has anyone else had this problem?

With the access areas, was there a place to “swipe” your parking pass?

There’s a garage off Baltimore that used this method of entry. You’re supposed to keep your ticket on you and then swipe or tap it to get back inside.

I’m not 100% sure about this one, but that took me a bit to figure out before, so I empathize.

This appears to be the resident entry side, but looks like swipe access. Could be how to get in!

So the only place my parking pass was accepted was inside the garage right after the gate.

I tried scanning my QR code with an automated parking management machine and it was not accepted.

Did you try the door that is on Cross St to the left of the "driveway" that leads to the parking garage door?

I did. It was locked with an RFID badge reader.

From some website...

  1. To enter, use the "open gate" button in your app
  2. Park in any spot not marked "Reserved"
  3. To exit, use the "open gate" button in your app
  4. If at any point the "open gate" button is not working, view the QR code on your pass and scan at the gate

Never parked there before and I am always reluctant to pay for parking via apps after hearing many, many horror stories. Did you see any sort of QR code reader or have the button on your app? How did you get in the first time?

There was no open gate button in the app from what I could see.

Here's a diagram. The door on the left is locked with RFID access.

And the garage door on the other side is resident only. RFID tag only.
