G & A use to be in Highlandtown but recently moved to white marsh (opposite side of town). I haven’t been to the new location but it’s been in the same family and has been on TV a few times. Known for Coney Island Hot dogs.

As a Michigander who moved to Balt many years ago, I haven’t found the exact fit for our coney expectations around here. Bens Chili bowl in DC will give ya a something similar. At the moment, I would look for a food truck or try Glizzyswagyudogs cart. (Locations on IG) It’s not the same, but good and the vibe is great. My go to is to have any poor soul traveling from the home mitten to Mule some Kogel dogs, bologna/pickled and a bunch of Kogel chili tubes too. Good luck.. Hmu if you find a source here..

G&A in White Marsh is known for its hot dogs. After taking forever to move out of the city, they seem to finally be up and running. They’re in the same center on Route 7 as Taco Love Grill.

I have seen one branded Coney Island place, and it is waaay north of the city on Route 1 heading for Conowingo. I’ve no idea if it’s open. I’ve never been there. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone there. Each time I pass it I wonder what the hell it’s doing there. It might be attached to a bar. It may even be passed Conowingo and on the way to Pennsylvania. Honestly you’re better off going to DC. But if you’re looking online and they’re insisting there’s one “in the Baltimore area” I’ll bet that’s it.

Fellow Michigander. I feel like diners can often scratch that itch. (Admittedly, I've never really been down with hotdogs though.)

But just wait until the Jet's cravings hit.

There's a few Double T diners around, which are like your classic old-school diner. Broadway Diner also falls into this category for me.

Then there's also Pete's Grille, The Lunchbox, and Silver Queen Cafe.

I'm home in Detroit and literally just ordered it a few minutes ago 😂

Pizza Underground is good, but it's definitely not the same. Matthew's is also good but not the same.
