You can look at sites like lumber liquidators and find the material you want to use and they have a calculator . That at least will give you a ballpark for the materials. 500 sf is not huge and could be done in 1 day if you are handy with a chop saw.

Unfortunately, I'm not very handy with anything other than houseplants 🫣😬 The LL site was helpful, though, just to see some material costs. Appreciate the tip!
