My car was towed from E. 33rd Street near Guilford, sometime before the marathon on Saturday. Have called 311 several times, and been given several places to look for it. Does anyone have any advice on how to find it?

Check with the Impound lots.

I would also suggest walking the streets or parking lots near where your car was parked. There's been times where they'll relocate vehicles nearby. Especially on mass removal events like race day.

Update: Car was located a few blocks away from the OG location. It was apparently towed and placed in a random residential block. Thanks all.

FTR, the location it was none of the six locales recommended to me by 311.

All in all, that’s not too bad. Years ago a Baltimore Colts fan told a story of how four friends would park their car on 33rd St directly in front of Memorial Stadium and head to their seats. Each week it would be towed to a lot at a nearby school. They received a $10 or 15 ticket, but considered it to be like valet parking. Plus they got a jump on all the traffic coming off the crowded stadium lot where cars were often parked bumper to bumper.

Your car was likely just moved to a new block. Start walking around your neighborhood. Try and go systematically from where your car was parked up and down the street. It’s just gonna take time. If you belong to a neighborhood group you could try posting in there and maybe someone has seen it.

This happened to me once (many years ago). 311 and 911 swore up and down they didn’t have it.

My insurance agent found it at the city impound lot out on Pulaski.

That happened to me too and they said that they do not have it and then told me it is near south haven. So I got on the bus today to go check there and I saw it on E23rd and St.Paul st. So maybe check there and see if you find it.

That area was recommended by 311. My car was not there, but many cars were apparently towed there.
