You can do most anything as long as it does not raise a stink with the neighbors. I know of a row house which has set up a dog daycare, in my neighborhood. The barking is heard blocks away.

If you are concerned, you might look into a zoning variance. I live on a street which is all very old row houses, sometime in the past it was all converted to commercial zoning. In recent years people have been moving in and making them their home. I got a zoning change for my house "Artist studio with residence" as my first floor is used as a shop for very part time furniture repair.

This is what I'm looking for! Where would I begin this process?
Mine is residential zoning, so it may be a different situation. Thank you!
