I am currently living in a homeless shelter in Baltimore but due to the only family member that still associated with me when I decided to transition (mtf)passing. I do work but this came out of left field. I had my tickets to get back to Baltimore but the bus I was supposed to take out of Chicago left extremely late last night so I missed my connecting bus that would have me in Baltimore in a hour. I tried to call the shelter and explain what’s going on but they are being hard and telling me that I might not have a bed if I’m not back by noon! I will have to wait til 5 for a bus with a opening that my ticket will transfer to I found a train that will get me back in Baltimore before 11 which would get me back at the shelter by 12. If someone could help me I would be extremely grateful and would even pay anyone back. I have proof of the train tickets cost. I’m terrified to be on the street in a city that I don’t know anyone.
