Still plenty close to everything in Mt Vernon. We lived on St Paul and Read (one street down from Eager) and we loved it. Eddies on Read, the Indian bodega is just down St Paul, Charles is one street over and you've got stuff in both directions. And yeah, the monument and parks are a few blocks down, but it's like barely even 5 minute walk.

Thank you so much! It seemed great when I visited, and I appreciate getting the opinion of someone who has lived there!

It’s such a great location central to everything. Walkability is pretty good, and public transport serves that area well including the free Circulator.

Awesome to hear. A couple friends who are more familiar with Baltimore said those few blocks are “rougher” so was a little worried. Thank you!

I lived on that corner for 4.5 years and aside from the traffic noise there wasn’t much to complain about. Centrally located and very walkable.

Awesome. A friend warned me that it was close to the highway on ramp so figured there would be some additional traffic noise but love the apartment so it feels like a worthy trade off, as long as it’s a good area overall. Thank you!

That highway ramp is 1) very small; 2) off of Calvert Street; 3) not well-used; and 4) not a problem.

It's a good neighborhood with great walkability. Baltimore is actually one of the better major cities in the nation in terms of walkability and not being dependent on a car.

I live near your location. It is good. Parking can be found. There is a parking garage on Read St and small time property owners rent space on their property, sometimes it is where an alley street once stood. My main complaint of the area, is the ever increasing noise. As bigger buildings are creeping in, their HVAC systems can sound like a jet engine running 24/7. This is esp true of MD General Hospital. Uni Balt is on the rise with its noise pollution. The Stafford Hotel Apts have a squeaky HVAC system which whines away.

it's lovely here just be careful in the wee hours of the night ofc. They also have events like the flower market and monument lighting. St. paul street feels like a video game when u have to drive down it but i love this neighborhood
