The 30 minutes comes from the website, only considers time on the bus. I get the same from apple maps, probably much more accurate. I'm a infamously slow walker.

No reason, just the first thing I saw. I'm a Maryland native but am new to the city and still learning the routes. The question is, are they both equally unreliable?

All of the color routes are generally reliable. You'll still want to plan for some delays/etc. especially at first until you figure our your office's tolerance for transit commutes.

But also: look at the JHU shuttle and Collegetown routes? Not sure where you are in Upper Fells, but getting a JHU shuttle from the hospital up to Charles Village and catching a Green or Collegetown bus from 33rd might be a better option.

To get on green from JHU shuttle you'd need to switch before the Green turns off Charles onto N Avenue. I would probably get off at Penn Station then take either Red, Green or 51, whichever is coming first according to the Transit App
