I have a collection of antique and more recent string instruments, e.g., banjos, mandolins, guitars, and ukeleles, ranging from the 1840s to the 1970s. Some are playable; others are collectibles.

Other than Reverb, where can I sell these instruments in Baltimore?

I've successfully bought a mandolin over Facebook marketplace. That being said, I've also had like 8 people ghost me and waste my time when trying to sell furniture there so your mileage may vary.

Hey I also have a collection of old string instruments! I try my hand at amateur luthiery to bring unplayable antiques to playable condition. Whatcha got?

Appalachian Bluegrass in Catonsville specializes in these instruments and would be worth contacting.

I'm a banjo, mandolin, and guitar player and always have my ear to the ground for good stringed instruments, feel free to send me a direct message, I'd maybe be interested in seeing what you've got.

Ryan Fowlers over in Towson may be interested.

His shop deals with a lot of higher end guitars. I’m not too sure if he would be interested in everything but he might be able to point you in the right direction.
