I would like to ask for your opinion/experience with inspection afer electrical panel upgrade. Specifically, it is normal that the inspector is not coming to phisically inspect the work and approves it based on electrican's photos?
More details: I am a first time house owner and I am also a foreigner (and tehrefore not familiar with US regulations). I hired a licensed electrician to upgrade the panel. I am very happy with his neat job, however I start wondering if he pulled out a permit as I never received a copy.
For the rough-in inspection, the electrician told me that the inspector just asked him to take photos. Now it is time of the final inspection and again the electrician told me that the inspector asked him to take photos. Is this normal/accepted?
Thank you for everyone that will share experience/knowledge.

If you're in Baltimore City, you can look up any permits issued for your address here. https://cels.baltimorehousing.org/Search_TM_MAP.aspx
