That tree branch makes it look like she is tied on a short lead to the tree

My lab will swim when it’s literally 0 degrees Fahrenheit outside. I’m convinced these dogs can’t get cold

Aww. What a loyal pup you’ve got. Waiting out in the cold can only be a sign of love

She actually loves the snow. She's always rolling and sliding in it.

She looks like she has been there for awhile- none of the snow around her is disturbed.

We got a couple inches of fresh snow yesterday and overnight, but none (yet) today.

She's sitting on top of about 18 inches of packed, crusted snow.

Will she get cold being outside and on the snow?

No. It was in the 20s, and she loves winter. She comes from the wind-swept tundra of northern Minnesota. Temps have to be below 0 before she starts to complain. "Taking her for a walk" is actually snowshoeing. She spends a good deal of the time nosing and rolling in the snow.

Besides, my wife was home and the dog taps at the door when she wants to come in.
