There is a wine bar / restaurant in Ballston called Grand Cru. Great date spot.

Pirouette in Ballston is a fantastic wine bar and cafe, Ballston local is a great cocktail and beer spot.

I agree, pirouette is a good spot for wine and nice bites. Also Ser (tapas). Salt Line if you like seafood. And Mussel Bar, they have a good seasonal cocktail with pomegranate- is yum. Go.

Delhi Dhaba is surprisingly charming on the inside! And the food is amazing.
