Just as the title says. I hate going and it stems from a lot of dental work growing up. Are there any recommendations for a judgement-free dentist in arlington, preferably between ballston and courthouse areas?

Virginia Dental Center at 1025 N. Filmore st. Fantastic docs, cool tech, office staff and billing are great for getting every insurance dollar covered. As a traumatized by dentist as a child person they are great with their patience and gentleness.

I also go here and really like it (I’m currently seeing dr Hassan, who is great). But getting an appointment is tough. They are very busy, I think they don’t have enough dental hygienists.

Yea. COVID did a number on them and they lost some staff. I’ve never had a hard time getting an appointment though. Not sure for new patients though.

They have tv at each chair and I think can do headphones if needed.

I just tried to reschedule my cleaning currently scheduled for 3 weeks from now, because a work conflict came up. No availability in November and mostly booked until April.

I have a recommendation for you! I used to go to Clarendon Family Dentistry before I moved out of the area (born-and-bred Arlingtonian living in NYC now) and have only had great experiences. Friendly staff, attentive, etc. Used to see Dr. Lakas here, but he has since retired. Offices are right next to the Clarendon Metro, and I used to Metro to them when I was living in the District.

I really like Arlington Advanced Dental Care in Ballston. It’s a no frills place with a really nice dentist.
