The Girl that Shared

This is a story of a girl that once took a trip to the forest. She walked and walked until she found a small clearing where she decided to sit and relax. She enjoyed the peace; the beautiful green colours of the moss, the soft rustling of the wind in the treetops, the quiet buzzing of bees in the distance. It was beautiful.
But suddenly, she realized she was not alone - at the edge of the clearing, just a few metres away, a group of adorable pups watched her and behind them, a larger dog stood - their mother, always protecting her children. At first, the girl and the dogs looked at each other with uncertainty, but then the dogs decided to approach. The girl looked lovingly at the adorable pups and their proud mother when she realized - they must be hungry, surely! And even though the girl didn't bring much with her, she shared and fed her new friends.
Soon, the pups and their mother left, grateful for the food the girl gave them.
Then, much to her surprise - a pair of foxes showed up, again watching her from the clearing. But they were more curious and playful and wasted no time running up to her. They sniffed around her and the girl giggled as their whiskers tickled her - but soon, she realized that the foxes were surely hungry too. So, though she gave most of what she had to the dogs, she shared some food with the foxes too.
Soon, the playful foxes left, grateful for the food the girl gave them.
She heard cawing from a nearby tree - crows! She always loved crows for their intelligence and lovely feathers. They watched her with their wise eyes, and she watched back. They then flew to her - instead of hoping the girl would realize they were hungry, the crows were smart enough to ask for food directly. The girl, always eager to help, decided to feed them as well.
Soon, the wise crows left, grateful for the food the girl gave them.
She looked down and saw worms wriggling in the ground. At first, she gasped, but her panic soon disappeared when she realized that even worms, though they might look gross at times, are a very important part of the forest - they go through the soil and make sure it is nice and supple for the trees and plants. And so, even though the girl thought they were oddly squiggly, she decided to feed them as well.
Soon, the squiggly worms burrowed back into the ground, grateful for the food the girl gave them.
It was late afternoon and the girl lay in the moss of the beautiful clearing, looking up at the soft glow of the sun. She was comfortable - it was as if the forest herself decided to make her a bed. It was at that point she realized that even though she fed all the animals in the forest, she forgot to bring anything for the forest itself. She was quite unhappy with that - the forest provides everything for the animals, how could she forget it? And so she decided to stay and make sure to give everything she had to the forest to make it grow tall and strong.
The forest rustled thankfully to her as she lay in the clearing, happy that she could share with so many wonderful animals.

A thank you to u/VikingTeddy for this fantastic prompt. I did write a story for it already, but then I had a story in mind that I felt was far better and felt compelled to write it out.
