If hidrogen based blood/ water for blood they could be breathing out h3C for example for methane or other combos for other elements compatible

CH3 is short version of ethane i believe,full molecule is C2H6 ...while CH4 is methane...oh,thanks for the comment just realized where I fked up in prior comments... wasn't really paying attention

CH3 is not short for C2H6, it means something entirely different (usually it's the formula for a methyl carbocation, when written as CH3^+ ). Chemical formulae are not just ratios of elements, they also have information about possible structure and charge of the species involved.
