No issues for us. We're near Indian Lake, so not sure how far the outage goes.

Switch to Verizon, we got Fios in the area, gig speed for far less than spectrum. We were on 300mbps that was actually running 60mbps, once we switched (and saved 30 a month) we are at well over 300mbps, we’ll worth it

I have to see if Fios is available. It wasn’t before and I have had VZW in the past. Not sure if I am affected by the cities contract with Charter or not

Well that contract is up in October and will most likely be done, Verizon is slowly getting Fios lines installed all over the city, the monopoly is over

It’s ok now but I had an outage on Blackstone River road a few weeks ago. Internet was out for about a week and I got them to knock 25% off my next bill.

As they should. You went 1/4 of the month with no service

All the rain we’ve had the past few days it wouldn’t surprise me if a tree or two came down and ripped a wire apart.

I’m near quinsigamond lake and last night my internet was really bad or just didn’t work. Seems okay this morning

I am up in Windy Hill up from Indian Lake. The service came back just before 9am. Got an alert at 12:41 am and Spectrum never gave an update. All seems fine, though it’s still a bit slower than normal. Reboot of the router and all to clean anything up didn’t change so I am guessing it’s still a process

Do you use Spectrum's modem and/or router? Asking as we used to have consistent issues when we used their modem. We switched to our own about two years ago and started getting more consistent service and even higher mbps than with their modem. We got about 100 mbps more than we were paying for by switching to our own.

Might be worth looking into if you're using their devices as they can better control your service with their own equipment.

Yes, we use both. In 5 years, we have only had 4 issues with connectivity and none really lasted long. With theirs, I have all turned all off and run the connection through my mesh network. I get about 100-200 above my normal speeds now.

My speeds are back up to normal now

And this is why I ditched Spectrum and went with T-mobile home internet. Never had a problem since.
