They just knocked down the old Sylvan(?) learning building which I hope is done in plans to merge the two streets as I don't see how keeping both Brooks and Pullman intersections at Mountain St W is feasible with the added traffic.
Even merging those two, it's going to definitely have a large impact on the Mountain St W/Frontage Rd/Brooks intersection.

That's what I thought. I remember going to some popular movies (like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Titanic) on a weekend night and the traffic was bricked.

there’s a sign on the corner of the property that says they’re looking to build to suit or the land out so I doubt that it’s going to merge the two roads together. Good idea though.

276 trips a day, in a 16 hour day, means one truck every 3 to 4 minutes, or less than one per light cycle. It sounds like a lot more than it is.

That’s what I thought but there’s supposed to be 4 companies there so I doubt they’ll be staggered across the whole 16 hours. There’s bound to be rushes and they may coincide with regular traffic.

Warehouse for what? Amazon is former Greendale mall.

Probably another Amazon warehouse.

It looks like there might be access via Frontage Rd N. Anyway you look at this it's going to disrupt traffic. I think this is a very poor location for a warehouse of any kind, it's really boxed in.

Any path from Frontage to the site is going to go down a pretty steep hill.

Yeah, You're right but there doesn't look like there's much else. It's a lousy location. I don't understand this when there is so much vacant land on Rt 20 that has access to the pike and Rt 9. I always thought it was a lousy location for showcase. BTW There's a massive Amazon facility going up on Rt 20 in Charlton. I wonder if they'll find enough people who want to work in that area. The location is surrounded by small towns. There's not a lot of rental properties out that way and single homes start in the $300 thousand range.

dont think amazon is going there anymore.

It's been forever since I've been up that way, but will 250 trailers a day fit in with that infrastructure? Can they expand road access with how tightly packed it is?
