Hey all, looking for some basic components for some guitar amp and pedal work - at the moment mostly just looking for a solid toggle switch and some resistors, but if there's anywhere nearby with a decent inventory I'd love to check it out. I'm familiar with Micro Center and You-Do-It, but hoping there's something closer.

There’s a guitar center in Millbury.

You won't find that at Guitar Center. They don't stock parts. Online order only.

Union Music might sell parts? Not 100% sure but it’s probably worth a try

If they don't have the part you need in stock they can order it from their supplier.

Not that I know of, and if you do find something it's likely to be horribly expensive. I know it's not what you asked for but https://www.taydaelectronics.com/ while not in the US ships fast and caters to music/instrument electronics. ebay is solid if you only need a few things.

Associated with any of the engineering colleges? They used to stock a decent supply of parts but only unless you were a student/staff. It wasn’t for the general public.

Unfortunately this is probably your best option for something quick and cheap. Otherwise check out mouser.com or digikey.com for a near infinite selection of toggles & resistors.

RIP Webster Square Radio Shack.

It’s crazy how convenient RadioShack was. I get why they closed, but they sure did fill a need
