FCC is still relying on older data, but if you look at fixed broadband and filter (in the settings) to only show Fiber you can see where the existing FIOS connections are in nearby towns. I would guess they are working their way in from existing coverage areas in Shrewsbury and Millbury: https://broadbandmap.fcc.gov/home

I wonder if there's any chance that with the Spectrum contract expiring in October of next year, Worcester might possibly allow Verizon to connect to Spectrum's fiber optic network in downtown that's currently just for businesses.
