I’m currently looking into solar and just spoke with someone from another company this past weekend. I’m still not entirely sure about doing it, but I do know that we’re DEFINITELY not going with SunRun.

We ended up buying outright and financing through someone else. It was the only way the math made any sense

It definitely looks like buying would be the way to go… but you just replace your electric bill with another loan, right? Is it worth it?

That’s the theory. I don’t think it’s working out yet, but it’s only been a few months so we’ll see what the long term looks like. My electric bill is certainly way down

I have a high end system and it will pay for itself after 5 years. Then it's all gravy.

Yup and depending on what rebates and financing options are available through federal and state programs, you could get a 0% or low % loan which makes it more than worth it. Plus you’ll start getting rebates on any over production. We are super glad we went solar

I went with revolusun and I'm super happy with it a year later.

Or I just hear it from about a dozen or so other people in the past four months that it’s a trash company on top of it. Glad you wanna die on that hill though
