They causally drop they don’t have a suspect, or even a description. I mean, how many bullets were fired, was this person intending to kill? Is there any footage from nearby? I heard fireworks and went on the page to see what was happening - and I saw this instead 😅

Well if they don’t have a suspect, you do realize if four of them die there’s a mass murderer on the loose? This is my first time hearing about it.

You’d think there’d be more concern - Massachusetts is on some weird ish lately.

how do you expect them to have a suspect unless they have witnesses, footage(which that area doesnt have cameras) and they dont have anyone in custody yet. think for a min the page said they dont even have a description of the person so yes it is a concern but i dont think it was random

The news article makes it sound like a cake walk, just saying. No mention of if people should be concerned because it was random, if all of the victims know each other, etc.

I’ve realized people in Massachusetts really don’t care about something unless it happens to them, a child, etc. Same with the drinks getting laced en masse in MA. But yeah, it’s a them problem - not an us problem.

The greater public is fine. I rent nearby and this building is mainly deathmetal and hardcore. It has history and while this is probably the worst thing to happen there, it is not exactly a shocker.

I’ve heard about a warehouse - didn’t know that was the one. It would’ve been good if everything had been clarified in the article, I’ve seen other articles that also explained more, but this one didn’t do the best job at explaining how events occurred.

I thought I was going to get an aneurysm for being concerned about the situation, and the fact law enforcement hasn’t released certain information that would let the public know whether or not if they are in danger.

I don’t think you want to know what I’m studying. 🤣😅

the only people that would be in danger is the people that know the suspect and the victims.

If the victims know each other, it could be someone they knew who did it because they knew where they’d be at that time. If the victims were wearing some sort of gang symbols, it could be gang related. If the victims did not know each other that well or if it was random (the person didn’t have any reason to shoot all of them/nobody knew they’d be there/etc.) we may have a bigger issue on our hands. Then again anyone that shot six people and is on the run doesn’t have much to lose.

Article also didn’t specify how many people were at this afterparty, 8 people, 30 people, or 100 people. All of these factors make a difference.

I don’t know why you feel the need to keep going but I don’t have much scheduled for tonight.

Occam's razor says people attended a party in a practice space(which isnt that big), something got out of hand and someone shot 6 people injuring them. they had to know each other because the only way into 88 webster st is to be let into the building by someone else, you cant just walk right in. ive been to practice shows there before.

Okay thank you - that information is helpful. That wasn’t specified the best as it sounded like there were victims scattered throughout. I hope the victims are okay as some were seriously injured.

i hope so to. webster st is nothing but commercial and industrial rental units. theres nothing wide open to party in besides small practice spaces for bands. most of the worcester bands practice there and scallywags tattoo shop is by there also

Have you been there recently? I had a studio there for some time and the main door was frequently left unlocked. Also the spaces are pretty large and there were several medium to large parties that occurred regularly.

maybe the main door is unlocked but im willing to bet those band practice spaces arent. no one in there right mind is gonna leave cabs and guitars unlocked for anyone to take
