How about investing in better food? The hot dogs are nasty...

All the food is nasty and overpriced. The DCU Center is definitely beyond it's heyday, I don't care how many "improvements" they make. They're going to start doing concerts at Polar Park, once they do that the DCU Center will be pretty much obsolete except for their conference space and expo halls which are empty 90% of the year.

I'll tolerate overpriced if it's edible. The other food we got wasn't too bad, but the hot dogs were particularly gross.

Otherwise I think it's a decent place, albeit in need of some updates.

I will miss the yellow and green seats. Just hope it's any color but black. Every arena it feels like has black seats.

I hope they can reconfigure the seating bowl to make it more hockey friendly the dcu definitely isn’t the best building for hockey in New England. Since it was built to compete with the old garden for concerts in the 80s. The Springfield Indians only moved to Worcester 12 years into the building’s lifespan.

I hope the afl can find a way to bring a team to Worcester

I know it will probably never happen but Worcester AHL 3.0 wouldn’t be a terrible thing someday. If an AHL Club had the railers management team and got to keep the name but combined it with the vastly superior talent and style of play of the AHL It would probably be very sustainable even with a affiliation like the Islanders or one of the Florida teams. The P-Bruins also have continued to be petty towards Worcester to this day it wouldn’t be a terrible thing to restart the rivalry on the ice either.

Yeah I guess

The railers have been at best slightly above average it’s pretty frustrating as a fan of the team. Surprised the team hasn’t been sold yet.

On the tax payers dime. The city owns the DCU.
