Which boat?

This is the Clinton-Mukilteo run. I don’t know which boat it was.

Probably the Tokitae or the Suquamish. I don't know why I'm being downvoted, I was curious. I grew up on South Whidbey.

I saw a print in a bookshop that had all the Ferry boats drawn out and named. It was super cool. I would have gotten it if I had somewhere to hang it.

I adore the slight tilt in this shot! Feels like I'm walking down the passenger deck myself.

Riding this ferry was a constant in my life when I was a child. Thank you for the bit of nostalgia.

Non-rush hour combined with the reality that people stay in their cars these days cause, you know, Covid.

Oh hell yeah!
What a nice shot dude. I love the shadows, the way the light hits and reflects on everything. The liminal space is something I live for, too!
The symmetry is top tier with just a single person in the frame. Kind of a nice reflection on all of us as human being in our own boat, in our own journey in life. We struggle to fill these seats. But the one boat we have to be alone on is death. We all face that one alone and this is that journey to the next place.
I like it! Tell more stories like this!

This must have been taken years ago, back when the ferries actually ran.

They’re running everyday
DerekL1963 t1_j6blf1i wrote
Yeah, they're "running" every day - when they don't bang into something or break down or suffer some other kind of problem. Which happens all too often. (Shit like cancelling the last two Bremerton runs, which happened last night.)
I'm guessing you and the folks who downvoted me don't live where they're dependent on the ferry and don't pay attention.
