Thank you so much! That means a lot. I learned by learning how to draw first before painting, because color is a whole different game than the greys of pencil. Most all of the the skills also translate over to painting, as well. My biggest tips would be to paint stuff that you think is cool and stuff you like. Breaking things into really basic shapes like rectangles, triangles and circles helps a lot at first too, because those basic forms make up everything.
