Not sure about the best place to post this but we are coming down from BC for the august long weekend (aug 5-7) and we are looking at doing a few hikes around Marblemount. One of the hikes can’t accommodate a dog but we still wanted to bring him down because he can do the others.

Does anyone know of a business, homeowner, or visitors who would be willing to look after an amazing dog for one night and a day that weekend? I checked Rover and everything but can’t find anything online.

here he is on a mountain

Mountainview Dog Ranch in Snohomish, Wa is very nice for boarding. It might be too far out of your way but I'm only going to recommend a place I have experience with.

Thanks! I just checked and unfortunately it’s a bit far for us to drive to drop him off. If we can’t find something we can leave him at home or board somewhere along the way, we just want to take him on the other adventures!

Just commenting to say I relate to the struggles that can come with bringing dogs on adventures. I hope you find someone!

But if you can’t, you’re only down for a weekend, and you want to leave him with someone for half the time, is it worth it?

Aww, that’s a good looking adventure pup! My partners dog is blind, which makes hiking/backpacking a challenge (read: we carry him in a pack!)

I wish I could volunteer, but that’s SOOO far out, we have no idea if we’d even be around the region then!

Check out rover!

Edit: it’s an app for dog sitting. They offer boarding, house sitting, hour long dog walks. You can search by location.
