WA has no term limits for the governor. Inslee has been WA governor since 2013 (elected in 2012; re-elected in 2016 and 2020). No WA governor has ever been elected to more than 3 terms. Inslee's current approval rating is around 46% in WA with a net approval rating of -2 (48% disapprove) (source: https://www.king5.com/article/news/politics/gov-inslees-job-approval-rating-october-2022-poll/281-8f7195e2-666a-4291-81a9-bf65e04f33240).

I think he’s said he’s not planning to.

I hope not. We need him as our governor. He’s done so many great things for economic growth and education. He’s a reason why Washington state has been booming the last few years.

When his new 42 cent a gallon gas tax goes into effect in January his approval rating should really drop. Hopefully we will finally be rid of him.

Well until the Republicans run someone who is sane and a moderate, which is not likely, Jay can or will be our governor for a while longer.

I think he’s done really great work for this state, but also it might be time to pass the baton. But if he’s on the ballot I’ll likely vote for him again 😊

The only republican alternatives aren't alternatives at all. Inslee had an incredibly difficult job trying to slow the spread of covid-19, and that job was made worse by Reich-wing extremists. If he runs, I'll vote for him. If he doesn't, I'll vote my conscience, which these days means I'm voting against fascism

I think he is old enough that he should not. I have appreciated most of what he does though I think some stuff like banning gas cars goes too far. Need a moderate from either party.

If he wants to I’d vote for him. He saw us through a pandemic. It wasn’t pretty at times but what state was? There was a lot of states I’d really wouldn’t have wanted to be in the last three years. I feel like WA has its head on straight and I think he’s done is part to help that. Now if he said No and would like a rest I’m ok with that too. He’s had a hard last few years and if he wanted to sit down and put his feet up I think he’s earned it.

It’s foolish to give praise to a politician for economic recovery. That happens for multiple reasons. A politician can only abstain from screwing up an economic recovery. We can certainly do better than Ferguson. We had a great Governor in Dan Evans. GOP find a sequel. It’s never good to have one party rule. Period

Sadly, Oregon can’t say the same.
