The problem is, no matter where they decide to put it, all the places they want to, have narrow country roads that are entirely incapable of handling urbanized traffic. If you’ve ever experienced the modern day commute from Issaquah to Tacoma, you’ll know how congested and dangerous that road is. Imagine that same narrow road with heavy trucks barreling through 24/7.

Because, of course, it would never occur to anyone to build out transportation infrastructure to support the new airport.

All the Amazon/Corporate warehouses that will be serviced by semi trucks in their 16+ loading bay docks going up/being built in the outskirts of Marysville sure haven't bothered doing anything with the narrow 2 lanes and 35mph roads surrounding them. It wouldn't surprise me. Infrastructure in this country is a thing of the past it seems.

Exactly. A brand-new full sized industrial airport would need full sized industrial freeways and rail to support it. These jackoffs that want to build this thing haven’t thought of any of that.
