Yeah it's funny I always get downvoted for telling people to stop posting pictures of your favorite hikes unless you want it ruined....... well... good job everyone you got your post karma and now every one and their brother is at your favorite spot. Hope you had fun 😊

As a person who works in environmental restoration…I’m not about to gatekeep the outdoors. There’s a balance to be had in allowing people to have access to places like this while educating the public about why it is so important we take care of our environment. A lot of times people don’t become active in the environmental movement until experiencing a hike like this that moves them emotionally. And like others have said, this was an already widely popular hike before these pictures were shared.

If i hadn't spent my whole life on the trails out here and seen nothing but increases in damage, trash, trail destruction, wildlife harrasment,etc.. I would probably think nothing but kumbaya also.. Unfortunately for me I rely on evidence.
