Nah, the foliage would look white in infrared. Looks like they darkened the sky with a red filter though.

Regular photo converted to black and white. I'd like to mess with infrared some day, but I don't have a modified camera.

The sky contrast is from using a circular polarizer.

Normally I'm doing sunrise, so I don't want to get rid of the sunrise colors. This photo was taken after 10 AM, when there was no sunrise color.
