They're invasive and I see more of them every year. They're starting to wake up now. It's been a rather mild winter so I'm thinking there will be even more this year - ugh.
I found some lures/traps advertised online. Has anyone used these?
Do you free, flush, or smush?
Drown in soapy water. It makes me sad though. Spiders I always catch and release!
I grab TP, smush their heads and flush!
Smushing them releases a smell that attracts more of them.
Eat them.
The only method I've found to work is to burn them on a stake and post them up above all the door ways to let the other bugs know what's up should they try to enter.
That smell reminds me of lacquer so I wonder if drowning them in vodka would make a nice finish for a woodworking project

You can catch them in a lidded container then freeze them. Once frozen you can dispose of them. This way they don’t release their stink, and you don’t waste water by flushing them.
I use a small jar and paperboard to trap wasps. I put them in the freezer for a couple weeks, then throw them out. I FUCKING HATE WASPS!
These stink bugs, meh...I don't hate them like I do wasps. But I'm worried about their increasing numbers since they're an invasive species. And they're in my house!
Literally remove any and all coverings & scorch with propane weed burner. Even with that I still squish a few a week, this last year has been horrendous
i just vacuum them up
